Job Title: Virtual Administrative Assistant
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Time

About the Role:

New York Chess Academy is seeking a highly organized and efficient Virtual Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills. This role will involve a wide range of tasks, from basic administrative duties to more complex project management.

Responsibilities:

Client and Team Coordination:

Coordinate with team members, customers, and partners

Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team

Assist with program planning and progress tracking

Attend Zoom meetings as needed

Administrative Support:
-
Answering phone calls and taking messages (if applicable)
-
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and set reminders
-
Efficiently manage email correspondence, prioritizing tasks

Creating and editing documents, reports, and presentations
-
Accurately input data into spreadsheets
-
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Virtual Administrative Assistant or similar role

Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Positive and proactive attitude
-
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Important Note: This position will initially be a probationary period to assess performance and suitability for the role.
