General Information:​​

• Sense Academy tournaments are open to all players rated 1200 and under (Pre-K-12). Rated and unrated sections.

• Game Format: Swiss System

• USCF Membership: Current USCF membership required for all sections, except Novice sections

• Registration and Entry fee: $45 by May 5, 2024 11:59 PM, $55 after.

• Check-in: Arrival 15 minutes before the event is required for check-in

• Awards / Prizes:

  • Novice 1 - Trophies for top 5. Medals for the rest of the participants

  • Novice 2 - Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up

  • Elementary - Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up

  • Booster- Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up

  • Reserve - Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up

• Awarding Ceremony: After each section completes and the final results become available, the awarding will follow.

• Equipment: Chess sets, clocks, and notation sheets provided​

• Masks are optional inside the building
