Q300 Middle School Program
Through the inclusion of diverse student identities, inquiry based learning, and data-driven decision making, Q300 will graduate students who collaborate with others to ask meaningful questions, to solve complex problems, and to engage responsibly with their communities and beyond.
Our elective classes ensure that each student is able to establish a solid chess foundation. Students learn chess theory and strategies during discussions before putting what they’ve learned into practice during the gameplay sessions. Students are able to compete against peers in friendly matches and receive feedback from their instructor.
The after-school classes aim to build solid chess foundations through discussion of topics followed by practice matches. The students will be engaged in problem solving in addition to game analysis during each lesson. The use of small groups is deliberate in order to ensure that each student receives high quality instruction.
