FOREST HILLS CAMPS

New York Chess Academy chess camps offer students the opportunity to learn chess and play games in a friendly environment. Campers will have the chance to improve their strategic skills, make new friends, and have fun!

​

The camps will include discussions, game play and analysis, puzzle-solving, and other chess-related activities. Indoor games, arts, critical thinking, and different fun activities may be incorporated into each session.

General Information:

• Open to all levels, ages 4-13 years

• Full Day Schedule: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Half Day Schedule: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm / 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

• Lunch (pizza) and snacks will be provided. If you are bringing your own lunch and snacks, it must be nut-free. 

• Depending on the weather, we may have a 1-hour play-time at the park in the afternoon

• For Summer, the students will have an ice cream at the park (optional - for an additional cost)

* Please fill out the form at checkout to indicate the level. The participants will be grouped and divided based on their levels (the coaches will also do an assessment to ensure the participants are in their appropriate group) and whenever the kids are ready to be "promoted", we will automatically move them up to the next level.
