Coach Philip holds a local chess rating of 1895 and earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics from the University of Santo Tomas. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Education at the same university. With extensive experience teaching both mathematics and chess to students of various age groups, he is a highly capable and adaptable instructor.
